A teenager named Madison Groflin lives in Chicago and moves to Minnesota to live with her grandmother for her parents sake to solve their divorce problems. She hasn't been there for seven years and when she goes to school she realizes that the people that she meets are the her old friends from seven years ago. They re-unite but their is trouble that goes along with it. The town is not what she expected it to be, she wants to find herself but seems to be a trail of puzzle pieces that she has to fix along the way before she can find out who she truly is. What's next for Madison and her friends?

They need their real names, or they'll never get to leave. Jester spends the book learning about the people he's stuck with, and trying to work backwards and find out who they are, while staying away from the owners prying gaze. 7 murders to solve, and one question plaguing them all.
