Written from a first person perspective, we follow Loki Laufyson's journey through figuring out how to love not only himself but his newly gained partner, Bruno. Loki has struggled with being able to show affection to anyone for his entire life, and has learned how to betray and manipulate without a challenge. "It's really just a defense mechanism," Is what Loki tries to believe. Despite every ounce of him that doesn't want to instill trust in anyone, he has come to terms with Bruno, and allowed her to see a side of him that no one has ever seen before. But one day, everything changes for Loki; and his world gets flipped upside-down yet again.
Will Bruno stay true to Loki, and him to her?
Will Loki learn to love and accept affection?
What happens to flip Loki's world upside down?
