After being inexplicably let go from Valentino's employ, Angel finds himself a bit lost and lacking direction. Without Val to supply the discipline that's structured his life for the past 50 years, Angel goes looking for it from someone else. Luckily, and much to his surprise, it seems like Alastor is able and willing to provide exactly the control and intensity he needs. But as Angel soon learns, the Radio Demon doesn't do things halfway, and he doesn't compromise. If he wants what Alastor has to offer, he'll have to trade everything he has to get it. What does he have to lose besides himself?

Angel has never felt like he belongs in church. Considering all the depraved shit he's had to do to take care of himself, he's not even sure he belongs in God's sight. That starts to change when he meets and befriends a priest named Alastor, who reminds him that every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future. No one else sees Angel the way Alastor sees him. He's never had anyone believe that he's capable of goodness and virtue. Still, he finds the experience so surprisingly comforting he can't seem to walk away from it. But developing feelings for a man who's sworn off romance in service to God would put Angel in a very complicated position. Especially if those feelings are reciprocated.
