Sumire starts school as very shy and introverted with only her best friend for company. When her best friend breaks off their friendship abruptly, she is drawn to a boy from her childhood who's been trying to get close to her. The only problem is whether unsociable Sumire, who's been alone all her life, can find the courage to open up to him.
Despite her best efforts, Sumire finds herself learning about friendship, love, and learning to let go.
