On an insignificant, backwater planet on the outskirts of the Milky Way Galaxy is the Empire of Gladexus. 

Two women, Annabelle Marigni and Elizabeth Laminaurus, are soldiers of Gladexus's Knights Council. One is a good-natured half sorceress and half elf; the other is foul-mouthed, bred to kill dragons, and enjoys butchering people with her sword.

They are given a run-of-the-mill assignment and have to work together despite being polar opposites and despising each other. During their escapade, an alien crash lands on their world and informs them of a demented rooster's plot to take over the galaxy. They have no clue what to expect-nor do they even know what a toaster is-but embark on a quest to stop the menace before he can launch his invasion and start a cataclysmic war unlike anything the Milky Way has ever seen.All Rights Reserved
