He lives in a town called Misfortune, and the Town really lives up to it's name. He's not your typical guy who has issues, and then falls in love in someone who's gonna change his life. Although, he does HAVE issues, he learns to cope with them. But his life changes when the dreams make sense, when the dots connect and he figures out WHAT he is. Love and Mysteries await him. Afzal, a Vampire who's boring as fuck. But that's for the plot. He feeds with his bestfriends, and does nothing but lay on his bed, and ponder about his boring lifestyle. But, when he's forced to go to the CrossWorld University, he realizes that there are a lot of diverse supernatural attending that school. And one guy in particular interests him. A supernatural that's both rare and a bad omen. Afzal can't admit the fact that he finds this creature.. Interesting. Maybe this Town isn't so Misfortunate. Anthony Deangelo is a computer programmer, game programmer, game developer, game designer, Manga writer, Artist, and Anime Creator. He's a Nerd, hopeless romantic also. He lives alone and goes into his own little world while working on his ideas. His family does things for the holidays in the family cabin up North. There's a problem, Anthony's Mom has told everyone in the family that Anthony is bringing his girlfriend over, and she is spending the Holidays with them. Anthony doesn't have a girlfriend; Anthony made her up. Now he's stuck and doesn't know what to do until he sees the woman he's had a crush on since laying eyes on her outside angry. So what does he do? Kidnaps her, of course, just for the Holidays. Aimee Robinson is a successful lawyer; she's on the billboards, she's won cases, and is doing pretty great for herself. The problem is, she happens to get the nickname called the "Ice Princess" she can be rude, blunt, seems to be cold-hearted, and doesn't seem to care about it. She cares about her firm and won't let anyone bring her down, not even the douchebag she was dating, who she found out was cheating on her. There's a mole in Aimee's firm, and she won't back down until matters are solved, but there's a problem. She's been kidnapped, by the weird guy who keeps staring at her from the cafe, and he says he's bringing her home to meet his family. Now Aimee is stuck in a car, handcuffed onto the car rest handle. She's dropped her phone outside the cafe and can't call for help; now she's on a road trip with a stranger who's bringing her to his home and claiming that she has to pretend to be his girlfriend. Each chapter is told from a different characters point of view and each character has a different backstory. (I am also rewriting this story, the book is completed but I will be editing every chapter as I'm not happy with my previous work, I wrote this as a teenager and I am now 26 years old, I believe I can improve on my old work and make this novel even better) It all starts with one terrible accident. Which then leads to a chain of bizarre and supernatural events that unravels the balance and causes chaos between the realms. The supernatural world is exploring to keenly into the human world, and earth may suffer the consequences of their curiosity. Quinton and Lucus have a typical brotherly rivalry, but do their problems run deeper than the normal family dramas every brother faces? There is a war going on between the light and the dark, but is there something else that could possibly tip the balance of the scales? Screw the cliche stories about heroes and villains. Here's a story narrated by someone else. A smartass. The Anti-Hero. Rude, selfish, and arrogant, Ace Johanna Araya isn't your typical hero. Optimistic, wisecracking, and friendly, she isn't your typical villain, either. After loosing herself in a life of crime; Ace makes the mistake of breaking into the wrong house and ends up under the same roof as a bunch of virtuous Do-Gooders who hunt the supernatural. Of course, she thinks she's just using them for a free place to stay. Little does she know, they're about to get her involved in a lot more than she bargained for. Of course, every story needs its villains, so, two seductively sassy vampires and a sadistic, ageless entity of evil who promises to end life as we know it (no surprise there) come into the mix. Ace will find herself struggling to determine where exactly the line between Good and Evil lies, all the while spewing random innuendos, cracking terrible jokes, and making pop culture references. This is going to be a mess. Inspired by things such as: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Supernatural, John Dies at the End, Constantine, Odd Thomas, Mean Girls, From Dusk Till Dawn, and Deadpool WARNING: The Narrator in this book (Ace) is an egotistical, insensitive, and selfish person. Even the more serious parts will have some comedic input from her and she can tend to be a bit abrasive or offensive. This is, after all, an anti-hero's point of view. This book contains characters of different ethnic backgrounds, races, and sexual orientations. A few will have mental and/or social disorders. So, keep an open mind.Complete
