It is a short poem. The theme is based on what we are going through due to the lockdown today. People are stuck at home and can't go outside for amusement because of lockdown which is necessary to stop spreading the fatal virus. Now a day we need to wear masks, maintain social distance, continuously focus on hygiene which was beyond our imagination even yesterday.

We all are stuck in one place. Numerous people lost their job, multiple had to forcefully shut their businesses off, became bankrupt. Others work from home, continuously spending time in front of the screen. All these circumstances lead to be all your own. Therefore, people lack social skills day by day. Even they refrain from different social activities as well. As a result, it leaves an adverse effect on their mindset.

We will fight against the virus with great patience and abide by all essential procedures. This piece of writing, however, at the end demonstrates that there is strong hope and belief that one day we will be together and conquer the virus and lead a peaceful normal life. Finger crossed.

She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. They are just the thoughts that pop up any time of the day. (8.11.2023) PS: Please check out 'safe space'. I need your help to make it a real safe space, readers!
