Kim is adopted and grew up in America and decided to visit korea after 12years.
Kim got the chance to stay in korea for one year as an exchange student for college. He was born korean but when he was 5years old both of his parents died the reason why two american people adopt him and live in america for 12years and change his citizen to american.
But after he met jeon in college, kim decided to stay for good and he feels that korea is his home and not america.
After all the realization kim went back to america to talk to his foster parent to ask permission if he can live in korea for good and change back his citizen as korean.
But Kim never return in korea after all the promises he told to jeon.
10years after kim return in korea hoping they will meet again.

This is a story based on the following prompt by an anonymous prompter for the Taekook single parent fest on Twitter: *While playing with his child, they end up breaking the thermostat of the apartment. As it was snowing outside, they can't live in the apartment without the heaters and it would take 2 weeks for it to get fixed as the workers are on vacation for Christmas and New year. Jungkook can't go to his friends' house as they are all out of station to see family or spend Christmas somewhere else. His relatives all live in Busan. When Taehyung heard about this, he offered his place to him and jungkook accepted. Their children will share taehyung's child's bed and Jungkook volunteered to take the couch. As they spent the days with each other, going out or playing in the snow or having a hot chocolate in front of the fireplace, taekook fell in love.
