these words come to me late at nights when I cannot just fall asleep and end up reminiscing the love I have never really had.
- snippets from when she falls in love so deeply, she resents reality.
- this is not intended to be a continuous story but a compilation of excerpts from the tidbits of a broken romance I will never be able to truly see through. My phone rings seeing zahirie's contact I don't answer but pressed declined, he calls two more times I declined each time Turning off my read receipts also. I search up a random video on Pinterest with a couple it looks like me but it's not "Enjoying my man's company," I post it turning my phone WiFi off closing my phone I placed it down Laying down i felt a rush of excitement . Getting up I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get ready for bed I hum Alkaline: Thug loving before exiting the bathroom i smile dancing around. I jump at the figure on my bed i touch the light switch "JESUS!," I exclaimed seeing an angry zahirie sitting on my bed with my phone in his hand. His eyes are red and low, he smells like a mixture of weed and expensive cologne Holding my chest as my heart pounds I don't move towards him. Getting up he comes over to me He grabs me by my throat not hard but so that I can feel a bit pressure "Who yah fuck wid,?" He asks his deep voice sending chills up my spine and down to my coochie. He reaches down touching my front He tilts his head "Betta," he says pulling away Weh him mean by dat? He grips my throat again giving me a look "Who dat yuh post,?" He asks as I don't answer he asks again this time voice getting deeper and grip tighter "A random video mi find," I say struggling to breathe he loosened his grip "Stop fuck wid mi yer," he says letting go of my neck moving towards the door "Suppose mi did ave man yah weh yuh woulda do,?" I ask he stopped turning towards me "Fuck around and find out," his tone is deadly and serious he sounds scary and the look on his face scares me "Turn on yuh WiFi and nuh decline man call ago call yuh as mi reach inna eh car doh mek eh phone ring out," he instructed leaving my room Not even a minute later he calls I answered on the first ring. His face comes in the camera as he smirks "Good girl," he stated driving off Wah kinda mad man dis mi go tek up pon mi head fada God?Kumpleto
My Teddy
The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't. Don't get close to people or they'll end up getting hurt. That's my mindset. I've been through enough of that. This girl doesn't belong in my world anyway. This book is rated R. Please proceed with caution. This is the more raunchy version of the book. *** We stand in silence, as I sip my water, and he watches me do it. Finally, he breaks the silence. "I'm sorry if I... offended you by sleeping in your bed last night. This morning. Whatever." "It's fine. You didn't do anything." He nods, his eyes far away, as if thinking of how to word his views. "I didn't do anything... but I wanted to. I wanted to so badly." I nearly choke on my water. I don't know what's worse; his confession, or how nonchalantly he says it, as if he's reading the weather. "Come again?" I say, thinking that I must have heard him wrong. He shrugs. "I want to f*ck you." Again, he is as nonchalant as ever. I just stare stupidly, my mouth agape. He closes my mouth, grinning at me, wicked intentions in his eyes. Not so nonchalant anymore, I see. "Um, I-I...I don't..." I stop talking, realising what a total idiot I sound like, while his grin broadens. In that second, I am grateful for my dark skin, as he can't see me blushing. "Tongue-tied?" My cheeks get hotter. "Shut the f*ck up." He actually laughs. "Don't worry, honey," he says, his hot breath brushing against my face, shocking me. When did he get this close? "One day," he whispers, now in my ear,"I will f*ck you." I realise that my eyes are closed and I open them. He's gone. I stand there frozen, in total shock. What the actual f*ck just happened? *** When all you know is disappointment, you become your own best friend. You isolate yourself from everyone else. You need no one; love is a weakness. That's the case with me. Then, Prince Charming rides in and changes everything. Except, he isn't a prince. Some things you just can't avoid, like falling in love. As much as you try to avoid, or search for it, it always seems to find you, or elude you. It seemed to find me every corner I turned, and I always tried to avoid it but alas, for some unknown reason, it found me.
