Luna Flores hasn't had an easy life. And after moving to Beacon Hills, it isn't about to get any easier.

Forced to uproot her family's life in Arizona, Luna hopes to find respite in the unknown, quiet town of Beacon Hills, California. A town that resides north of her old life, the lies, and the whispers of murder behind her - a place where no one will recognize her name, unless they dig far too deep. And hopefully, no one will.

But then - a night in woods changes everything. Thrust into a whirlwind with two teenage boys trespassing in the center of Beacon Hills Preserve, she finds both terror and trust with Stiles Stilinski and Scott McCall. Two friends, which is a word she hasn't said in a while.

As Scott goes through an unnatural transformation and Luna and Stiles struggle to help him as they adapt to this new, strange, and terrifying world, she quickly begins to realize that the things still go bump in the night and the horrors of her old town are not so far after all. More importantly, she comes to understand that she's not crazy either. Especially after coming face to face once more with the all too familiar claw marks, glowing eyes, and howling of wolves in between the trees.
