Familiar [fuh-mil-yer] adjective: A familiar sight. When you’ve seen someone before. For example: from the first time I saw his face again, he somehow seemed so familiar. A familiar feeling. A comfortable feeling only that one person can give you. A feeling which just feels right, which feels like home. For example: In his arms I felt familiar.
