I charged at her, watching as she didn't brace herself for the impact. Thinking I had caught her off-guard, I felt the swell of rage and pride churning in my chest. I held her collar in my fist, my wand against her throat, knuckles going red. Her expression was shot in shock, eyebrows raised in uncanny petrification. She nabbed at my hand holding her collar, digging her claw-like nails into the top of my hand, her thumb's nail nearly piercing my palm.
