Kindaichi and Kunimi have known each other since they were in diapers, as their mothers were best friends in high school. They've done basically everything together. But after something traumatic happened to Kunimi when he was going on six, Kindaichi had to regain some of his trust (despite not being involved in the traumatic incident). Over time Kunimi managed to be able to healthily cope with PTSD, depression, and anxiety, which he had gotten because of the traumatic incident. What kind of chaos will ensue once the two enter highschool? And can Kindaichi keep the promise he made when he was six?
