Everyone has a breaking point. And Alfred Jones, the personification of America, never thought he would have reached his. Maybe it was the of the insults that he used to brush off as a joke. Maybe it was his poor economy and how the people of his country thought. Maybe it was because of his human-like emotions and that fact that he couldn't keep up the hero facade. But when everything comes tumbling down, Alfred spirals into things he never thought were possible.

Is the clown the fool of the story, or are you? After all, the clown knows it's an act, but the audience is so lost in it that they tend to forget. Alfred had lived a long life. He'd learned a lot in it. That England was easy to gaslight if you knew what you were doing. France would back away from any show of force. Germany could ignore a bumbling idiot even as the evidence piled up just because he wasn't very good with people. Poland saw everything and read people like a book. Prussia would keep his mouth shut if you gave him enough liquor or made him obedient. Russia would turn a blind eye if you turned one to him. China never trusted anyone even if there was evidence of the contrary.
