Ben Ripley is a spy-in-training at the CIA's Academy of Espionage. In his short time there he's had a lot of success, but made many enemies in the process. He just wants to find some balance in his personal life, but the bad guys just won't cut him any slack. They've got big plans for him. Background I would like to become a better writer, and I am using the Spy School series for practice. I really like the way Stuart Gibbs writes, and I fully admit I am trying hard to copy his style. Benjamin Ripley was learning fast. He is the second best spy in training in the entire school, just ahead of Joshua Hallal, and behind the most amazing spy and girl he's ever met, Erica Hale. He quickly falls in love with her, but isn't quite sure how she feels about him. Ben is hurt when all his friends have prom dates but him, even Erica. He's even more heartbroken when Erica is going with Joshua, who is a complete jerk, especially to Ben and his friends. Ben suspects she shouldn't trust Joshua, and she pushes him away saying he's a bad friend. Just when he's as hurt as he thinks he can take and wanting to end it all, Erica comes in crying. Joshua cheated on her like Ben predicted. Ben wants to kill Joshua for hurting her so bad. Will there be a big fight? Erica apologizes but will their friendship heal, or maybe even grow to be more than just a friendship? I do not own these characters, Stuart Gibbs does, though the plot is mine.

No secret can be kept forever in Spy School. Everyone is thrilled to see Catherine and Alexander's second child. Except for one person. Erica is doubtful about her new baby sister. She believes that the baby will only get in the way of things in the future. The gang tries to assure her that the baby will be just fine and that she won't need to worry about a thing. But when a new mission comes into play, things get a little out of hand. And as this is all happening, a new enemy arises from the shadows. Will the gang be able to stop the bad guys? Or will the mission be a failure?
