I don't know if I was successful or not. Hopefully, some of you will enjoy this short half-novel. I know it probably starts a little slow, but it does pick up. At least, I am having fun writing it. Takes place after Spy School Goes to Sea and contains spoilers from all the novels. All characters are original to Stuart Gibbs. Benjamin Ripley was learning fast. He is the second best spy in training in the entire school, just ahead of Joshua Hallal, and behind the most amazing spy and girl he's ever met, Erica Hale. He quickly falls in love with her, but isn't quite sure how she feels about him. Ben is hurt when all his friends have prom dates but him, even Erica. He's even more heartbroken when Erica is going with Joshua, who is a complete jerk, especially to Ben and his friends. Joshua cheated on her like Ben predicted. Ben wants to kill Joshua for hurting her so bad. Will there be a big fight? Erica apologizes but will their friendship heal, or maybe even grow to be more than just a friendship? I do not own these characters, Stuart Gibbs does, though the plot is mine.
