Raven lives in a city in a small part of Wyoming. Nothing ever happens there and if anything did, word spread like a wildfire. On Halloween night Raven and her friends decide to go to a cornfield a couple hours away from their hometown. SInce it's a couple hours away they get there later than expected and there's almost no one there. But they continue to go into the cornfield. What they didnt know is that the two men that owned the cornfield decided to hunt the group of young adults in the cornfield. When Raven and her friends get trapped they push her towards the danger as a distraction. What will happen to Raven? Will she get revenge on her friends? Or will the men put an end to Raven's life and continue to hunt the others?

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. After that, Kace wants revenge for what they've done. The gang is his life and no one can tell him otherwise. But what would happen if both worlds collide?
