After a devastating war fueled by the volatile power of essence, the few surviving nations settle on the last remaining continent under a fragile armistice. Now, as the destructive power resurfaces with a new generation of users, fear, greed and ambition carve the path for the New Continent's uncertain future, whilst two young boys - Polt and Vero - fight to keep the last vestiges of humanity from succumbing to chaos and erasing itself from existence.
