i think our lives can be compared to a painting. in more ways than one. i also think the responsibility we hold to ourselves as the painter, of this painting, is greater than we think. we push our souls to create the most perfect finish of art, when sometimes the messiest paintings are the most profoundly beautiful.
this short story follows the ideas of painting our lives, i hope you enjoy :)

This story is about a painter named Dexter and his extraordinary masterpiece. Dexter is a talented artist, but every person he paints is missing a face, making his artwork uniquely incomplete. Ayah's beauty inspires Dexter to capture her on canvas. Her portrait, unlike any Dexter had ever painted, features a clear image. It was his first ever painting with a clear face. But then his painting, Ayah, comes alive. His life is irrevocably changed, forcing him to confront the mysteries of creation and the blurred lines between art and reality.

Art is a form of communication.
