Gannicus, God of the arena, champion of House Batiatus. His love for women and wine well known. When a prominant Roman family visit Batiatus he is gifted with the vision of dark hair and doe eyes.
Valeria of House Leos, daughter of Albus. Accompanies her father to House Batiatus only to find herself being left in their care when her father expresses his need to travel for business. What could the Gods possibly have planned for her, leaving her in the hands of two serpents. When she finds a connection with one of the Gladiators she clings onto it and refuses to believe it was not the will of the Gods who brought them together. Hiding a budding romance is a difficulty in itself but when under the roof Batiatus will such a thing prove impossible?
