As he stalked his beloved around Shuichi see kokichi get pushed, punched and thrown around multiple times in a day by Kaito and Rantaro, Shuichi decides to take matters into his own hands to protect his beloved from anything that hurts him or comes in the way of him and his beloved. (First book of the trilogy) Kokichi, a kind, extroverted boy, moved out to a new city and dropped out in a new school: Spring Field Academy, he quickly made friends here and became one of the popular students, but soon after a few weeks, he notices that one of his classmates is left out from everybody else. Kokichi never saw that boy speak to anyone, neither did he hear him talk in the first place, so of course he decided to try and befriend this lonely boy. Everyone is meaner than in the normal game but they still have the same personalities. Kokichi is his normal cheerful,annoying self but the others treat him like trash after figuring out who he really is. Kokichi is quickly affected by their behaviour,with the stress of the killing game and the hate of everyone and his past,he turns on his body,but he hides it so well,no one expects it,he was always harmful to his body because of his horrible past even in school,it just becomes worst as he meets everyonr else,but then someone finds out. Shuichi. He was one of the mean people to Kokichi but after seeing him like that,he wanted to help. Will Kokichi trust Shuichi after all he's done? Will their relationship blossom into something more than friends? (By the way,everyone is trying to figure out how to get out of the dome they are trapped in,there's no killing,Monokuma just traps them their for fun and he's their to watch over them.)
