This is another RP I am working on with my friend A15033. I hope you enjoy.
This is Book Two. The book after Trapped.
(About the cover. I made it in a junky app on my school iPad, so I'm sorry it is not the best. I actually traced over another picture, and then made it so everything was white and black, which looks amazing! I also did this for the covers of the sequels of this one. We just have to get around to finishing this one and starting them. I also did this with another cover for a story I will hopefully post soon. ((After I think of a title... Im bad at that.)) ).
Anything in my character, Mary (which is my real name if you could not tell from my username)'s pov is written by me, and Makalya's pov is written by meh buddy^^

An identical pair of twins, the older Alfred, and the younger, Matthew, are junior students at a high school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They are living in an abusive foster home. Matthew is studious and is kind to everyone, while Alfred does anything to protect his younger twin and is a player on the football team. Arthur, his husband, Francis, and their daughter, Victoria, move to the US for Francis's job. Arthur begins teaching at the high school Victoria starts attending and has the two twins in his classes. When Fear Takes Hold
A new, deadly disease is spreading, and although necessary precautions are put in place, the nations don't show much concern. That is, until it's revealed they aren't immune to it either. A special quarantine is organized for the nations who have fallen ill as researchers around the world attempt to find a cure. Those trapped inside the quarantine suffer from pain, loss, and even madness as they are reduced to that of mere humans. This brings light to them as they realize what it is like to be mortal. And they are terrified. Buried memories resurface and unspoken truths are told. {STORY DISCONTINUED and I'm probably never gonna finish it whoops} The world is ending, obviously. America never really paid attention to the news, only Good Morning America, of course, but when the flooding and crippling storms started in the south and worked their way to D.C., he got nervous. There were warnings, scientists predicted the amount of blah, blah, science, science, random crap, big words. . . World catastrophe. The Storm. Bunkers and shelters were built, supplies were stocked, factories and farmers worked around the clock before the Storm could hit them. One might think the United States was prepping for war, and in a way, they were. They had to fight for their lives. Alfred is alone in a bunker, panicking for his people and brothers and the rest of the countries like Japan and Germany. He hears a distant muffled sound above the howling winds, a frightened little boy sits in the corner with an old stuffed bunny sucking his thumb. No one notices him. How is America supposed to protect hundreds of people and himself against a storm that could kill people in a number of ways? And now a kid had moved him to become his caretaker. When Alfred became independent from England, France had muttered to him that he didn't know the pain of raising a child then losing it. But know, he assumes that he may just learn.
