A young researcher's first expedition into the forest beyond the fireplace yields some unexpected results as she meets a rather peculiar native humanoid entity bearing the features of a griffon vulture. She comes to realize that maybe the disappearance of her mother in these strange woods long ago wasn't just an unfortunate incident...

So um this story may be on hold as I have lost interest and have no idea how to continue the story... . (Disclaimer, there is NO smut/inappropriate things, just cute and wholesome~♡ but warning, there may be some dark themes throughout.) . . This story is basically a sonic the hedghog fanfic. It's set in a dystopian reality. im still figuring out everyone's stories even the main plot. But I just go along as my mind pleases. The main 'object' that stirs this story is a plant, named the agony night floret, that infects living things. It was created accidentally in a facility by money hungry mobian scientists and main boss, scarlett the fox. she is the main 'villian', surprsingly not eggman lol. the agony night floret infects mobians, putting them in these stages. first a purple blue rash, then disconfiguration then having the chance to rott and turn into creepy lifeless zombie ish creatures, not hostile but really contagious. They roam around isolated areas. Or, they have the small chance by transforming into these cannibalistic 'flesh-gorgers', coming in different types, 3-4 times bigger than hosts/Mobians size. sonic and his friends travel firstly through the thick, white, winter forests, named 'Nobelwoods' in Nahada, trying to find the facility of where it all happened, while unexpectedly coming across a familiar haze of a huge mossy concrete structure of shadows old-old home. Burnt. It will be told why in the story. I have posted drawings of the characters/unfamiliar characters to understand better of what their appearances looks. thankz for reading this far if u have :) (I'm rambling abt the lore lol) . . . . im gna be honest this is a huge work in progress, but essentially After a major traumatic event in Griffen Westons life sends him spiraling into a life he never expected, things seem beyond fixing. He had never felt so empty. But grief has a certain smell. It's a scent that attracts a certain kind of creature when you head out into the woods. His dreams tell him tales before he sees them. He watches this mysterious wisp of white hair and green cloth dart about the moss to evade him. The scent of patchouli and lavender with the pugent musk of sulfur harrasses him into submitting into this feeble attempt at following her. Or It.
