Book 8 of the To Be A Runner Series

A dying leader, a runaway madman, skeptical locals, and a piece of the book that could contain the secrets to everything...

Yep, that seems about right.

It's been only five days since Jones injected Janine with the nanites, but with her time being so short, every second counts. Now we find ourselves on in the Far Hebridies, having to gain the trust of those here in order to get their help in catching Jones and healing Janine.

But there's more to Mor Island, and the islands around it, than we know. Odd labs, cryptic cave messages, skinscoats, a red god? All of it is bizarre and wrong and we must weave our way through the mystery if we hope to save Janine and get back the missing piece of the Edda of the Wakened Warriors. If we don't, we will be overcome with the V-Types once again, and the world as we know it will end.

That's why I have to rise up and continue to fight, even as new friends and enemies arise, even the things I thought were stable in my life slowly starts to crumble, leaving gaps for uncertainty or doubt. No, I cannot fall now. I have to keep going because that's what I do.

I have to rise up with my team, for my friends. It's time to win this, and be a Champion.

Book 6 in the To Be A Runner series A missing general, hired assassins, a crazed Prime Minister, a voice in my head, and two sides on the verge of war. Yep, that sounds about right. It's been nine months since we took Abel back, nine months since us and the Minister arranged a 'peace treaty', as she likes to call it. We know the truth, but we've been marked as criminals, and that means very few people actually believe us. But even though Sigrid cannot get into Abel's underground labs, she's proven that she has not been defeated. She's looking for something-someone, actually. A person with the disease called Moonchild Syndrome, because it seems that I'm not the only person who's had Moonchild come and stay after breaking free from the mind control. And that's one of the many things I have to worry about. The 'original' still comes to me in dreams, and I know the Glass Protocol is still out there, looking for me, and I know that every step I take could be the last. Every decision I make will effect the people I care about, so I have to step up. I'm many things, or really, I've been called many things-a runner, a hero, a monster, a traitor, a survivor, a killer, a rebel... But I've been Head of Runners since Janine's disappearance, and now it's time for me to stop just being the head, and start being a true leader. Disclaimer-I do not own Zombies, Run! Or its characters. I only own the characters I made up all on my own. This is my Five's journey through season 6 on and in between missions.

Book 4 in the To Be A Runner series. If you have not read books 1, 2 or 3, I seriously suggest you do before continuing in order to avoid confusion. An expectant mother, a shady government worker, an unexpected visitor, and the search for a cure. Yep, that sounds about right. It's been almost nine months since the world was saved from eternal happiness, but the world is still in danger. The dead still walk and we are still far from finding a cure. But we are still discovering new things. Veronica's hard at work, and with Abel teaming up with the Ministry nothing should be able to stop us. At least, that's what I thought. But there are things we still don't understand, things I'm not sure I want to understand, like the voices in my head, like the zombies that can almost talk and are what Veronica likes to call 'Sentient Type Zombies'. There are things that I'm facing that I'd rather just forget-things I'd rather not know about... But I can't be that way. I can't back down-not from the A.M.T.B., not from the voices in my head, and not from the overwhelming feelings that clog my throat and make it almost impossible to breathe whenever I see- No, feelings are not important now, not when a cure is available, not when he's busy worrying about his baby that's due to arrive and the fact that Paula's getting sicker and... I'm getting off topic. It's time for me to step up once again. My job as a runner is never done. Now it's time for me to step up and be a hero. Disclaimer-I do not own Zombies, Run! Or its characters. I only own the ones I created. This is my Runner Five's version of season four and what I think happened in between missions.

Book 7 in the To Be A Runner series New allies, V-Type zombies, rising anarchists, and a country that can't seem to find stable ground. Yep, that seems about right. It's been six weeks since Sigrid was taken down, and in those times, things have gone to chaos. A power vacuum has been created, and people are desperate to find a way to keep everything from falling apart. The cure has been created, but V-Types, the unkillable zombies, still pose a threat. We aren't even sure if the cure works on them. Unfortunately, they aren't even our worse problems. The Last Riders, a chaotic group that for a long while did nothing but cause petty chaos and take lives whenever they could, have suddenly turned darker. They did terrible things before, but with the country split and the late leader being reveled as the monster she was, they've decided there's nothing left to live for. They're determined to take us all down. That's where I come in. As I put more effort in finding a cure for my immortality, as well as keeping my children safe and happy (one child in particular), I also must work remember put the most important things first-which is getting through this second wave of the apocalypse. It's a good thing we have Colonel Sage and... Veronica to help us. The question is though, can Abel really trust them? It seems we don't have much choice in the matter, but I've learned to keep an eye on everyone. And I believe I need to look back at the Vikings, learn from them and what we have from the Edda to figure out how to stop these V-Type zombies. It's time to be a warrior. Disclaimer: I do not own Zombies, Run! Or any of its characters. I only own the characters I myself created. This is my Five's perspective of season 7 and what happened in between missions.

I can't eat. I can't sleep. And I know you know what that's like."~ Liliana is now an orphan.
