Ever since Alina's powers manifested in other people, the balance of nature has been thrown off. Forest beasts became more aggressive, earthquakes and natural disasters happen more frequently, and the dangers of the ocean more prevalent than ever. Nikolai must sail south west to Kerch and meet with the merchant council on a new treaty, but the Shu Han have blockaded the main entrance so he must sail around. Fearing for his safety, Zoya goes with. The two of them stuck on a boat, the fear of death looming over both. But hey, what else is new?

As wonderful as KoS and RoW is, I love the idea of them falling in love on a ship. That's it, this is really just and excuse to write Zoyalai sailing fluff. Except for chapter 7. Please skip chapter 7 if you don't like *spicy*. (it doesn't affect the plot so don't worry.)
