Taking place almost 200 years after the events of the main Sonic the Hedgehog series, in "Foreshadowed Future", Shadow the Hedgehog is learning to cope with both new and familiar challenges as he finds the world against him on all sides and as he learns to overcome his losses of the friends he outlived. Inspired by Sonic comics and video games, this is a tale of self-discovery and recovery from lost love, as he also learns to accept his foreshadowed fate of his timeline's future.
