A year after Dante and Vergil go into the underworld to defeat demons, Nero is living with Kyrie and some kids from the orphanage. While out on a demon hunt he returns home to find all of the children killed and Kyrie taking her last breaths. Nero decides to go on the hunt for the demon who killed his loved ones. However, once he catches up to the demon he gets sucked into a portal that transports him into a new world. How will the people of New Eridu react to the demon hunter? How will he react to hollows?
