okay here's what i remember
i read it about 2 years ago i'd say? it was about the reader being sucked into the Mario universe, and they, along with the Mario brothers have to go and find a way for her to get out. they find a prophecy i think, and use that to travel to bowser's castle, who teamed up with king boo.
specific things i can remember:
-they went to a water level where Mario gestured the reader to breath normally, and they had to trick her to breathe in the water. when they were on land, she threw up all the water
they came to a sky goddess castle??? they spent the night after the reader touched an orb and was able to communicate with the gif residing there, and after sleeping in rooms that appeared out of nowhere, the goddess launched them in a canon i think?

the final battle was in the real world
the reader had a choice of either staying in her world or going back to the Mario world, and she went back to the Mario world.
i think the author made a sequel??? can't remember.

The Broken Observatory - Party Crashers AU
Something messed up with the Observatory. Lumas are terrified, and Rosalina despite trying, can't do anything to solve the problem. Yet this mission is pushed further as something quite serious happens in the meantime... Super Mario universe with Party Crashers, where the said characters, who are Nick, Brent, Vern and Eevee are on an adventure to help the Observatory before it's too late. The story is inspired by a movie I watched when I was younger and two books I've read before. I don't remember the titles, and obviously it wasn't about the Mario Universe or anything like that, but I decided to "remake" it into this AU here. She's not usually cruel, but Bowser's offer came with a reward that he swore on: She WILL get the love of her life, no doubt about it. But does she? And there's Waluigi too, a silent lover, watching Rosalina in secret, hoping she'll notice him one day. Will she? That's what he's been asking his secret best friend. They would all do ANYTHING to get the navy blue haired musician to love them again; even if Bowser Jr. is no longer heir to the throne for a change.
