Torn between love and duty, Wilhem's "I love you" was a promise.
"You have two options. Follow the legacy that has been laid out to you for hundreds of years in the making, or rewrite history. Start a revolution and leave a legacy that will belong to you and only you."
Sometimes love is more than enough to triumph over the hardships that come with the crown. There are many things in Wilhelm's life that he himself is unsure of, but this is not one of them. His heart, body, mind, and soul belong here with Simon and no one else. Parts of himself that he has yet to discover, all belong to the boy he's in love with. One day he will speak these words to him and to the entire world.
