Amidst the enmity of KrishnaNagar and Tulsipur, the new Barrister Bondita Das makes numerous attempts to bring her Sakha Babu on the correct path, only to get shattered everytime by his actions.
Not being able to take the circumstances anymore, she convinces her heart that everyone - including her Sakha Babu have changed.
How will things turn out when Bondita gets to Chandrachur's truth? How will Anirudh and Bondita face each other in court?

The story is set in pre-independent India where customs and practices like Child marriage, sati, gender discrimination, caste system, etc. prevailed. Anirudh is a young, 20 year old, London returned gold-medalist Barrister, from the London school of law, and is the son of Zamindars. He has returned to his country India as a revolutionary, with a determination to change his country for good.
In a bid to save her from sati, Anirudh marries a tyrant and curious, 8 year old girl Bondita. Though, she has been in India since birth, she is different. She carries with herself the guts to question baseless rituals of society, to raise the voice for right.
In the era where women were taught to be silent, he gave her voice. When women were told to be on ground, he gave her wings. Fighting from the society, breaking all the barriers, he finally made her independent- The First Female Barrister of India.
They shared a very special, a pure bond of love. In order to set an example for the society, they broke their marriage, as a significance of Child Marriage being wrong. But Bondita becoming Barrister had not come free of cost. The fire from which she rose, burnt their relation. Will they be united after a long gap of 8 years? Will they ever fall in love?
