When Emily heads off to college to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor she meets a group of foolish, colored haired, musicians. She discovers one of the boys named Luke Hemmings, is also wishing to become a doctor. After unfortunate even occur Luke helps Emily break through barriers and escape her life of hell. Only time will tell what's going to happen next.
