Carol's still alive or what remains of her. Life had flashed so many times before her eyes that it now took an insignificant tone on her, it's what she needed anyways; the peace-the peace that's on the other side, wide open but so hard to reach. Something is keeping her in this dark existence, maybe it is so show her something worth all her living or it's to really break every nerve inside her to show that she was never in control. The souls of her friends where never hers to set free or the fact that she could just an addition to the pile of oppressed living within the walls of the mysterious residence. Or she might just at the nick of time have it all back if her cruel destiny favours her before she waste away completely or Carol might have to embrace the darkness only having the privilege to peak at the light so far away.
