In the Bronx, a child named Vegter Soren learns to read, write and calculate on her own. When she turns fifteen, she learns alone how to fight and then tries to teach her caste (the asleep and disadvantaged) how to read and write. However, she's discovered and coerced into a mysterious army. Considering she excels among the warriors, Vegter's chosen to conduct an army exam. Carrying admirable intelligence proven by her self-learning, she becomes the greatest enigmatic evolution ever! Everything turns against Vegter when she disobeys one of the Martial Commands. The girl will face the consequences of disobedience and will need to figure out how to get around this mess without being punished, or she might have to pay with her life.
