Books are just stories and nothing else, right? Wrong.
Autumn Winters, a 14 year old girl is one of the only people in the world left to believe in tales and stories.

Every story is true. Every author is a prophet. Every child has the power to change the story if they believe.

After reading the last sentence of a story Autumn gets transported to that world and has to survive until the end of the story. If she dies in the story, she never goes back to her original life.

Only one problem, after traveling to another world, she forgets everything about herself and becomes someone else, only keeping her name.
