Marie awoke to her new life in complete darkness, the only thing she remembers is her first name. Upon arriving in the Glade, Marie discovers that she isn't the only one without memories. Surrounded by boys, most of them fear her because she is the only girl ever to step foot in the Glade. However there is always one boy who sticks up for her and she finds herself strangely drawn to him. She soon makes friends and finds people she can trust, but her questions are still unanswered.
