The time after the death of the Western Roman Empire. Where Goths, Franks, Vandals and more Germanic tribes decimated the weakened half ever since the 3rd Century Crisis. What was taken was not only the provinces of Italia, but also the Gaul's territories spanning up to modern day France, Austria and Hungary. The rest of Hispania and northern Africa, other than Egypt, in the hands of the Germanic people. Yet, their most admirable foe was in the east, near Anatolia.
A place where only few have conquered since recent years. The mighty Persian empire, the rivals of the east. Within the few years where the Eastern Roman Empire fought and licked their wounds, there was a bit of peace as foederati were the added defence. After all, they are but weak in military might and strength, so they used some tribes of their foes surrounding them, bound to protect the decaying, yet strong empire.
Finally, at the darkest of age cometh a light once more, the golden age of this era of death. May God watch them as fate may turn to the sides of the Romans after all of what they've lost. The age of Justinian's reign, the "last" Latin-speaking emperor of the Roman Empire.
*Ah, been a while that I've visited this.*
{Supposedly, someone told us that the story changed since it's revised.}
*Is it different?*
{Well, maybe. Who knows. They just told us to tone down the comedy and absurdist creation.}
*The second one is a lie, you know it. It's the characters that needed to change.*
{And who's fault is that, you insolent child?}
*Yeah, yeah. Don't matter now, let's go with it.*
