Those were the last words Valerie heard from Kayden before Kayden's family finally left their place for no apparent reason.

Since then, Valerie used to cry and to be lonely because she always miss his childhood friend who promised to protect her and not to leave her side. She really thought that he will not break his promise but promises are meant to be broken.
