HER DEMON A story of the forbidden, the fated, and the fire that never died. The demon. Her demon. She was the moon-gentle, serene, cloaked in a glow that calmed the wildest storms. But behind that soft smile lay unspoken chaos... a soul that had seen lifetimes, a fire buried deep under elegance. And he-he was the night. Not just its silence, but its shadows. Proud, raw, raging. A storm that no one dared to tame. A fire that burned everything it touched. They were night and moon. Darkness and glow. Clash and calm. Broken and whole. Incomplete... without each other. For only her devil could command his demon. Only her voice could silence his wrath. Only her presence could still the war within him. But what if the universe-tired of watching history repeat pain-chose to intervene? What if Narayan decided to play again, not with a flute this time, but with fate itself? What if the great Mahabharat, written in stone, was granted a new page? What if Duryodhan, the king of lost causes, the misunderstood warrior of Hastinapur, was given another chance? Not to change the war-but to change the reason he went to war. Not to reclaim a throne- And what if two hearts from Kaliyug, separated by time and tragedy, were reborn in Dwaparyug? Carrying the memories, the madness, the ache of a love that never found its forever? He was known as Hridav-fierce, feared. She was known as Vriddhi-graceful, wild, divine. But the time played & made them Duryodhan and Vartika. This is not the Mahabharat you know. This is the Mahabharat Krishna chose to rewrite. A tale where love is darker than war. Where the demon is not evil-but deeply human. And where the heroine doesn't slay the monster... she loves him. HER DEMON A story of souls reborn. Of fate reshaped. Of a love so fierce, even time dared not touch it. #1 in yudhishthir #2 in narayan

In the age of Mahabharat, at Hastinapur Khatriyo Adhiradh fell in love with Sudro girl Radha. They got married but failed to produce any offspring. Many years later, in Ganga river, they discovered a newly born child with earrings and armor. His face was bright as daylight. They took him and named him Basusen. Later Maharishi Parasuram took him as his disciple but Dronacharya refuted while giving him the name of Karna. He was a great archer and powerful fighter. His dream of life was to defeat Arjuna, the greatest archer of India and the Prince of Hastinapur. At the day of archery competition, he even challenged his rival but refuted by Kulguru Kripacharya for not being a Prince. Arjuna's cousin, Duryodhan, immeditely befriended him and rewarded him the throne of Anga Pradesh (today's Behar). He became Angaraj and became the loyal friend of Duryodhan till his death. He even had to take part in his friend's gulit, agony and wrongdoings unwantedly. But he had a secret in his birth. Did it make him or ultimately break him before the final war of Kurukshetra against Arjuna? Some of avid readers are asking why I did not mention here about his lover Baishali or his third wife Uruvi. Yes I had removed their names as I planned to pen down separate stories on all of them. I had followed Ved Vyas Mahabharata here mostly. I don't want to make this book into a big fat novel. So I write down a whole series on his each wives and off springs, Vrishaketu & Padmaja. Sorry if you find this story not related to my all other stories of Karna Series. This is my second story on my favorite Mahabharata series. He is my childhood crush till today. I dedicate this book only to him. This is my original story and I strongly declare that I did not publish it on any other platform than here. The source of the story were Mahabharat and related stories or biographies on Angaraj Karna. Pictures were taken from public domain. Images courtesy: Youtube, Google Chrome and Pinterest.

With every graceful step through the corridors of the palace, Suthanu carries the weight of her ancestors' wisdom, spreading joy among her people, a light of promise in a city built upon the foundations of hard-won peace. The warmth of love and laughter is swept into a chasm of emptiness, leaving her to confront the void left by tragedy. How does one endure when the very essence of one's world collapses? Will Suthanu find the strength to rise above the misery, or will the darkness she faces consume the spark of her spirit? It is then that a young prince enters her world, drawn to her by an invisible thread of fate. Yet, as his path crosses hers, he carries his own secrets and struggles, bound to a destiny as uncertain and perilous as hers. Will he be her sanctuary or her undoing? Can their intertwined fates overcome the storm gathering over their world, or will they be consumed by the shadowed forces plotting in the unseen depths? In a realm where dharma clashes with desire and the forces of evil rise, what truths will emerge from the darkness? And what future lies hidden beneath fate's unrelenting veil?
