"Papa peeez (plz) !" Making a puppy face look, she requested Mr. Farhan to celebrate the festival. But he couldn't register her cute little acts as he was in mourning. His wife was hospitalized due to COVID 19 in a serious condition. He still wasn't able to admit the strong possibilities of losing her. Moreover, the changed behaviour of his kindreds was not letting him to overcome. Today was Eid. His 3 years old daughter knew nothing, about circumstances. The poor girl was thinking of her mom's soon re-arrival. "aa u clying ? (are u crying)" She asked her father, wiping his tears. Now the tears started flooding from his eyes and he hugged her tightly. "Sorry kiddo ! I can't do anything today. We are quarantined. Even our loved ones have turned away. Sorry for today, sweetheart, some other day." She kissed her father and said "ichchhoke (it's ok)" with a big convinced smile. "Ding-Dong" The door bell rang. ............ .....................................

She's lost too much, carries too many burdens, and still manages to be kind. The bakery her mother left behind is barely surviving, her little brother depends on her, and she's convinced she doesn't need anyone. Crying feels weak. Love feels impossible. For her . She's an eldest daughter. Then came Musa a broke, stubborn stranger who wouldn't stop showing up. He had nothing, yet somehow gave her everything she'd forgotten she needed: laughter, chaos, and a reason to hope again. (Someone in disguise) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ he muttered softly after burning his hand, "I just don't want to disappoint you." Ayesha raised an eyebrow, deadpan. "You're already a disappointment. How much worse can you get?" He gave her a look, "Thanks for the support." She smiled slightly, "Anytime." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- She tried not to like him. She really did. "I hate everyone," she muttered. "Except me, right?" "Especially you." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ sometimes, the people who arrive uninvited... are the ones written in your destiny. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
