Troye is different than the other angels at Tyler's academy. Everyone else seems to be pushed away from him and Tyler doesn't understand why he only gravitates towards him. Why does the boy in the back of the class not shine like the other angels?

Shinsou always wanted to be a hero despite being told he has a villain Quirk throughout his life. Now he's been in the Hero Course for two months, and feels that hope weakening, knowing he's the reason Kaminari and Sero's friendship is ruined. Bakugo doesn't make him feel any better with his unexplained hatred of him-but if Shinsou's being honest, he doesn't like him either. Not when he knows Bakugo told Midoriya to go take a swan-dive off of the roof of a building to get a Quirk in middle school. Things worsen when an American transfer joins class 1-A and comes to the same conclusion everyone does about him in one day -because Shinsou proved her right. As emptiness swallows him whole like a casket shutting out the light, he considers that maybe Bakugo had a point on how to get a Quirk to become a hero. What he doesn't consider, is that Bakugo would not only stop him, but the two would be stuck together by All Might's word because of Shinsou's very decision. In which Shinsou Hitoshi is a selective mute who hates burdening others trying to become a hero, and gives up after failing to get a different Quirk via a swan-dive. Or, a deeper bisection on how Quirks put expectations on their metahuman wielders, especially those who get viewed as villains for a power they didn't ask to be born with. That explodes into a tale of two men learning to love each other and themselves :) THIS IS NOT A CHARACTER X READER/SELF-INSERT. Warnings: Suicide attempt and thoughts. Violence, emo teenagers, and gore Making out scenes Suggestive language Bullying and harassment PTSD trauma Bakugo. Just Bakugo. This was based off of a roleplay I did years ago. Due to this, a self-insert is in the story that helps move the plot and cannot be removed in the first 11 chapters because of that. She disappears after Act 1. This is a story mainly about Shinsou Hitoshi.
Roommates by thatwriterlady

Dean's about to start medical school and he has been assigned a dorm room. With a roommate. As he and Sam head up to his new room he gets an ominous warning from the guy down the hall about Dean's new roommate. It unnerves Sam, but Dean thinks the guy can't be that bad. Right? Dean and Sam grew up happy with BOTH parents in this one. I thought about how to approach this one for quite a while before I actually started writing it. I thought, how can I get this to make sense? Why would a roommate run away? And then this came to me. So, for those of you that don't know, I based a lot of Cas' personality, quirks, and traits on myself since I have Asperger's. While I don't color coordinate my shirts in the closet, they DO have to all face the same direction, and I have more sensory issues than I'll bore you with here. I mention Dean's sensory issues as well here. While he doesn't show actual traits of Asperger's, he's on the spectrum too, and people on the spectrum still have related issues. The bluntness of Cas' questions are something that I did more often when I was younger, and a reason why people singled me out as weird or a freak. I had great difficulty distinguishing between when people were joking and making fun of me (therefore people thought I was stupid, and I was called as much, despite my higher IQ), so I tended to keep to myself. I still have difficulty initiating conversations, and my reaction to going into places like the party that will be mentioned here is much the same as I made Cas react. Parallels, as you'll notice.

*2021 Watty Award Shortlister* ** I scanned his face, taking in all of his features. His eyes were large, shockingly so, and his eyelashes were long, accentuating that honey gaze. His lips were blush pink, his cheeks taking on the same tint in the nipping air. I glanced at his neck as he swallowed before my gaze returned to his eyes. "You can't do that," he spoke, turning back onto his back. "Do what?" "Look at me." "I can't look at you?" I echoed. "Not like that." ** They say you meet the person you fall in love with when you least expect it. For Sage and Angel, this is especially true. After a run in at a party, Sage and Angel find themselves on a winding road of discovery, heartbreak, acceptance, trauma, and healing. Throughout their journey, they learn about one another, about themselves, and about life itself, and in ways they'd never imagined.
