Whilst in hospital, her old childhood friend (who was being controlled by Hades though Cora did not know yet ) had come back after many years, and she took Cora to the underworld, where Hades, tried to kill her and rid her of her powers which she did not even know she had. Whilst in the underworld, she learnt shocking facts about her childhood and who she really was.
