Once, a long time ago in times of desperate war known to mortals as World War Two, forbidden child possessing great power was born. She never knew of her powers, until she was forced to use them against an incredible evil, and transport herself to the strangest summer camp, that made her believe she was absolutely nuts. She meets some incredible people, such as a teenager named Percy Jackson who seems to think he’s a man of steel who’s defeated many ‘monsters’. He’s nice enough, but the weirdest thing is everyone seems to believe his insane story….And if that wasn’t strange enough, the man who gave her gifts on the side of the street is now a horse. It can’t possibly be true, it must be a crazy messed up dream, but Pamela can’t shake the feeling that this crazy camp is her new reality.

Arlo Sarsons - Wrath of Amaterasu

9 parts Ongoing Mature

Hey. I'm Arlo Sarsons. If you're holding this book, I'm deeply sorry. You've clearly ignored all the warning signs. This isn't some fun little adventure where I learn life lessons and ride off into the sunset with a big heroic grin. Nah. This is the kind of story where things catch fire for no reason, mysterious people talk in riddles, and I end up in places that probably don't exist on Google Maps. There are monsters. Probably. Secrets? Definitely. And me? I'm just trying to stay alive long enough to figure out what the hell is going on. So if you're expecting something cheerful and heartwarming... maybe try literally any other book. Still here? Cool. But don't say I didn't warn you.
