Mini-Book of the "Long and Hopeful Journey" Series. If you have not read my first story of this series, Race Against Time, I suggest reading it before you read this story. This is a mini-sequel to that book. 

When Chase, Marshall, Ryder and started the Paw Patrol, their first mission involved a white mother wolf as well as her wolf pup. They meet up again two years and join forces to stop a man named Jason Puissance (That is the plot for "Race Against Time" and "Search For Loved Ones" but not for this book). In this book, the past of Luna and Apollo will be unveiled. This book is about what happened in those years since they last met. How Luna became alpha of the Nightguard Pack, what happened to Apollo's father and more secrets about their past will be revealed.

Book Two of the "Long and Hopeful Journey" Series. If you haven't read the first story in the series, Race Against Time, I suggest reading it before you read this story. "Race Against Time" was focused on ChasexSkye and MarshallxEverest, but slightly more focused on ChasexSkye. This story, however, is going to be slightly more focused on MarshallxEverest. This book would be clearer if you read it. If you have, enjoy this story. After the first battle, the Paw Patrol hadn't heard of Jason Puissance for about two months. Chase, Marshall, and the rest of the Paw Patrol agree to help search for Chase and Marshall's parents. But Puissance was waiting for them with two new dogs ready for the PAW Patrol, specifically Chase and Marshall. He plans to kidnap two pups, as well as some Adventure Bay citizens, and hold them hostage until his plan of having his kingdom is accomplished. He took them to the same place where Chase and Marshall's parents were held. Jason planned on using them as a ransom for the rest of the PAW Patrol. But when Chase and Marshall find their parents, they are told a secret that changes up the entire battle. Now it is up to the Paw Patrol to free their parents and friends before it's too late. Along the way, they must also battle their insecurities and fears. Will they be able to defeat the villains and return home? Or will they be stuck in this new reality forever?
