pulling on your heart to push my luck
"I knew deep down, though, that I had no intention of returning to the physical world without her. I couldn't live with myself if I hadn't done everything I could to get her back. The months spent apart were grueling enough, and I told myself again and again that I would get used to it, repeating it often enough that it became a command rather than a wish-one that I couldn't obey. And I knew that I never would, either." Canon-compliant fic in which Asami and Korra actually keep in touch while Korra recovers from Zaheer's poisoning, complete with long-distance slow-burn, coming out, and love confessions. PSA: Although this is part 2 of the write to me series, it can be read as a standalone. You can read part 2 without reading part 1 and leave it at that but if you read part 2, you'll probably wanna read part 1. You could also read them alongside each other if you really wantedComplete
