Forging an Alpha

Liberty Maxwell, born into a world where men are the leaders and women are there as pretty play things, has been raised to think like an Alpha. Work like an Alpha and have all the ethics of a natural born leader. However, without her mate, she won't be allowed to utilize her knowledge and skills properly. Fear of becoming unmated, Liberty has made it her goal to find her mate, whomever they are and to show the world that women too can be leaders.

Adrian Paltrow, subjected to years of abuse and near starvation is yearning for his ticket out of the gruesome world he has known all his life. He wants freedom and to live without the constant badgering of always being the one who does all the wrong things. The time for his Transferring of the Throne is here and where he knew that he'd never inherit his father's Throne, he hoped that his father would provide the clean break he's always threatened.

Will Liberty be able to overcome the fact that her mate is indeed helpless when it comes to tactics of leadership and has no prior knowledge on how to rule? Will Adrian be able to grow into this new title and adapt to a completely different lifestyle than one he was born into?
