After the man she loved killed her, Melinoe found herself as a soul without a body that couldn't enter the Underworld. Melinoe explores the world in her astral form and starts to help other ghosts. She makes a name for herself as the Queen of Ghosts, and with belief comes power. Melinoe contacts Hades to earn the right to guide the ghosts to the Underworld. Surprisingly, Hades agrees. He makes Melinoe one of his advisors as the Goddess of Ghosts and Funeral Rites. Hope for the Underworld

53 parts Complete

'In a single terrifying moment the heavens roared with a deafening crack of thunder, and the wind howled in a bone-chilling frenzy, as if someone was screaming in agony and unbearable anguish. In response, the earth recoiled in shock; the ground shook violently, jolting her off her feet. As the tremors intensified, a great chasm ripped open, devouring everything in its path and swallowing her in an instant. In a heartbeat, she plummeted into the shadowy abyss, consumed completely by the darkness. Then, the great void closed again, cutting off the sound of her terrified voice, leaving no trace of her presence there...' A retelling of the timeless love story of Hades and Persephone. Though some may argue it wasn't a love story at all... I disagree... Cover by AI Updated twice a week.
