Kitsunes and humans are friends. They visit each other, bring each other goods, and keep each other company. Many people have kitsunes as pets, which make kitsune way more popular than any other animals and creatures there in the Mahō world. Until an incident happens. A very very very greedy person wants all the kitsunes to himself so he can have all the power in the world. Now, no man chooses to be evil just because he wants to be evil, he did it for his happiness, for the one he loves... There is a rumor that if you have all the kitsune powers, you can revive a person to live.  He controls a kitsune - a random one he found... that he thought is weak, but he is the kitsune lord. He controls the kitsune and makes it attack one of the most popular and dominant villages in the Country of Fire. 
  The 4th lord Adonis's wife, Revena, is giving birth to a girl, who they decide to name her Valerie. The baby's birth time is not lucky. Just then an enemy came attacking them. Adonis managed to stop the enemy from taking their baby away. But the enemy is just a diversion. The controlled kitsune destroyed the village. 
  How do you kill a kitsune? By slaying all the tails down, of course, they didn't get tails for show-off, duh. Adonis managed to slay down 8 tails with only one tail left. But because this kitsune is powerful, it can't be killed. So he sealed the kitsune into his newborn baby, sacrificing him and his wife. As their blood drops on the baby's forehead, the blood disappears as a seal appears on her stomach.

As such their numbers began to dwindle and, with the ever growing demand for Drakonis and Fatalis slaves, their species became endangered. They could not be bred to produce more because each Drakonis can only choose one mate and can only have children with that one mate for the rest of their lives. If one mate was to die, then the other would feel like they had lost half their soul, but gaining a mate unlocks a Drakonis' full potential so not choosing a mate is like a bird never learning to fly. Purposeless. With their people hunted and lands razed, the mighty Drakonis faded into legend and their truths became gossip and the gossip became bedtime stories for children who wonder about adventure and travel. But there was one who hid her true identity, one who played human but always remembered her pride and home from whence she came.
