Phantom Trooper (Rewrite)

Emotions are a weakness and they lead to death. Yuri was taught this the day he was born. Born into a life of violence and survival he was taught not to feel anything, not to trust anyone and only to survive by any means necessary.

Tragic events force him to join the army. Not something he wanted but did anyway. Over the years he became the best and more. But something happened. He wasn't human. He was a beast, a predator, a Reaper.

His life would change when he is forced to join a team. This changed him and gave him a different perspective on life. The team became a family and he became a member.

But things go wrong, very wrong. Yuri, blaming himself, kills innocents and gets dishonorably discharged. Wanting to end the cycle of death, he kills one more person...himself.

After an overdose his soul leaves his body and floats away. However, even death didn't go the way he planned. His soul does end up in a different world, but its not heaven or hell.

This is a rewrite of the original. In my opinion it's much better and I really took more time to make it more readable and enjoyable.
