The lines begin to blur between reality and fantasy - when a video game glitches, you turn it off and on again. But with Rebecca's life on the line, a reboot is not an option. So she must try to outlive the fatal glitch that has forced itself upon her, changing the destiny of Skyrim itself...

The unusual duo meet under dire circumstances as the hero is on his quest to defeat Alduin the World Eater, and their relationship grows from the constant chaos within Skyrim. Third story to "His Harbinger," sequel to "Something to Protect." Everything makes much more sense if you at least read "His Harbinger" first. Vilkas x Dragonborn (established) Farkas x Lydia (also established and a bit background) Based on my play through of the Dragonborn DLC with my Dragonborn Krinna Dovh, a female Nord. Krinna has visions and premonitions so there are some things she just knows (continuing a headcannon established in the first two books). Mostly told from Vilkas's perspective, with occasional snippets from the Dragonborn's perspective. Also explores aspects of married life; Vilkas being hot-tempered, but sweet and loyal. Story is set after the Companions quest line, the civil war, and the main story line is complete (events of "His Harbinger") and after the Dawnguard DLC (events of "Something to Protect") Also not entirely cannon compliant. And of course this is a fanfiction, the only thing unique to me is my specific characterization of the Dragonborn, everything else belongs to Bethesda, including portions of the dialogue. And lastly, marked mature for some strongly suggestive occasions (I won't write the details, but they're married), and occasional vulgar language.

This is a story injected into my personal Skyrim character and experience. It's a creative spin on the existing characters and situations, giving it more life and reality than the mindless video game characters in the game. "This is, without a doubt, the best book I've read on Wattpad. I cried at times, laughed at some, but overall, I absolutely loved this book.
