I am also the kind of person to write poems romanticizing my life and turning reality into fantasy. I find the stories i creat to be quite interesting and entertaining. So I thought i would share them

My life should be great. I have an amazing job with one of the biggest event management companies around, and I have a wonderful boyfriend. Oh wait, did I say "wonderful"? I meant "cheating". And my job used to be amazing until I got a new boss. Now, it's only awkward. Why? Well, I fancy him a little, nothing serious, though. Okay, that is a lie, too. It is a full-blown crush. To him, however, I'm invisible. He doesn't even remember my name, even though I'm his personal assistant. Could it get any worse? Yes. Thanks to the bottle of wine I decide to down out of pure frustration on one of those many lonely nights in my apartment, while my boyfriend is out cheating on me. Please, don't blame me. My husband, Mark, is a good man; he's a strong man. When I needed him to step up with our kids as I finished dental school, he became our little family's rock without ever complaining or being bitter. He owned late-night feedings and diaper changes like a champ while I slept so I could be prepared for my classes in the morning. Now, it's my turn to return the favor. He's working hard on a high-profile case that could change the trajectory of his career if he wins this case. In marriage, sometimes a little sacrifice is needed, which is why on our tenth wedding anniversary, like the past six months, I'm celebrating alone, a sacrifice I'm more than willing to give to the man who's so proudly stood by my side all these years.
